Preparing Oman's Sustainable Workforce for the Future Challenges and Opportunities: through Future Skills and HRD conference. The recent Future Skills and HRD conference hosted by GHEDEX Oman was an outstanding success, bringing together leaders and representatives from all over the country to discuss the latest trends and schemes in Human Resource Development and future skills. The opening ceremony was conducted by Amr Abdullah Baabood, Group CEO of Arabian Research Bureau (ARB/OITE), who set the tone for the conference with his inspiring and insightful remarks. The keynote speakers followed, and discussed the latest trends in future skills & HRD, providing valuable insights into how businesses and individuals can stay ahead of the curve in a rapidly changing world. CEO Panel 1 highlighted the conference, by providing a platform for prominent business leaders to share their thoughts on the importance of future skills and HRD in corporate environment. Amr Abdullah Baabood, Chairman of the Board, and CO-chair Sadiq Ahmed Khan were among the panellists, along with several keynote speakers from different companies. The conference also recognised several companies for their achievements in future skills and HRD during the awards ceremony, which was held before the coffee and networking break. This was followed by three panel discussions, covering a range of topics, including future skills taught at schools and colleges, future skills start-ups, and effective job-seeking tips. On Day 2, the conference continued with two sessions that focused on HRD training for jobs in energy, telecoms & ICT manufacturing, and services. Panel 1 addressed the importance of incorporating future skills training at work, while Panel 2 provided valuable insights into employment trends in Oman by 2030. GHEDEX Team was honoured to host such a successful conference, which provided a platform for leaders and representatives to share their thoughts and ideas on the latest trends in HRD and future skills.
