EdTech2022 for Better Future in Education

The Sultanate of Oman has always put education at the top of its priorities. "On top of our national priorities is the education sector, with all its types and levels. It will receive full attention, and it will be provided with a supporting environment that motivates research and innovation. We will also provide it with all means of empowerment, since it is the base upon which our children will be able to participate in meeting the requirements of the coming phase of development, "His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tariq Al  Said stressed in his speech on February 2020.

However, COVID-19 has taught a great lesson about the importance of blending technology with education, all schools were suddenly closed and students were left without education. To keep education ongoing, His Majesty gave directives to make education hybrid. Students from schools, universities, and colleges have started to use technology, such as computers, phones, and tablets, to learn and attend classes virtually.

Education Technology Exhibition (EdTech) Sub-event of The GHEDEX Group of Events supported by The Oman Society of Education Technology, believes that technology is the future of education and this is not temporary. It believes that technology is essential for modernizing the public sector, delivering services to all citizens even in remote areas.

EdTech aims to improve student results, promote individualized education, and reduce the teaching burden on instructors. It also provides an audio-visual experience where students and teachers can use different and interesting tools to learn and teach.

The EdTech exhibition will be held from 27-29 March 2022 at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center, Muscat and shall be a meeting place for Top Information Technology Companies, Academic Institutions and Student to Discover, Learn and Experience the Latest of Technologies used in education.
